Judith Ann Gale, age 85 of Parker, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1939 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Leland Lewis and Edith Hicks Lewis. Judy leaves behind her cherished family: Daughter Alison Gordon and her husband Peder, with their children Emily and Erik.
Judy and her family moved to Castle Rock in 1973. It was in Castle Rock that Judy not only raised her family, but also devoted her time to teaching English at Castle Rock Middle School. She retired after 30 years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she always enjoyed reading a good book and solving crossword puzzles. Judy attended Providence Presbyterian Church in Parker and continued her love for teaching through teaching Sunday School.
A funeral service for Judy will be held at 10:00am on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, Castle Rock. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Diabetes Foundation.
