Carol H Rexford

Carol H Rexford (nee Huffman), age 89, passed away on February 18, 2025. PA., Carol was born on December 19, 1935, in New Kensington, PA., to the late Harmon and Martha Huffman. She lived in Catonsville for 55 years and later moved to Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville. She ultimately retired as an Executive Assistant at Loyola University Maryland. Prior to that, she worked at UMBC and the University of Maryland Agricultural and Extension Service in Howard County. She was a graduate of Catonsville High School and Bard Avon School. She was an avid Master Gardener, skilled amateur artist, and devoted dog lover. She loved the beach and spent countless summers in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She was an active member of Catonsville Presbyterian Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and her son, Daniel. Carol is survived by Daniel’s wife, Susan; her grandchildren, Caroline and Pratt; her great-grandson, Everett; by her other son, David; and her brother, Robert. Carol is also survived by several devoted friends of many years whom she treasured.

A memorial service will be held at Charlestown Retirement Community’s Chapel, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, on March 22, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Friends may call half hour prior to services at the chapel.
