Uncle Cal and Aunt Sandy gave me beautiful memories ---they took me to my first ever play at Red Rocks ---giving me a life-long love of theater. I always thrilled at coming to visit him, Aunt Sandy, and my dear cousins. Uncle Cal was a kind, loving gentleman. Wishing the family much love and peace at this challening time.

Cal Achey was my boss and my mentor for so many things, including my jobs, college, my interest in airplanes. He told me of his experiences during World War II, in Burma (?), flying "The Hump". One time he took it upon himself to dig through his papers to locate for me, the diagram of a "variable pitch" propeller.

And Mrs. Achey loaned me a book to read about Grand Opera.

I never forgot the kindnesses of the Acheys, and, though long out of their lives, regularly continued to remember them in my thoughts and prayers.

These are good people.
