Diane Barbara Ohlson, 76, of Centennial, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2020 surrounded by loved ones at home. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 25, 1943, to Leonard and Ann Zeitz. Diane graduated from Charles F. Brush High School in 1961 and then became a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduating from the Jane Addams School in 1963. That same year her adventurous spirit helped her take flight to many places and guided her as a stewardess for Northwest Orient airlines. Diane later obtained a Registered Nurse Associate degree from Saint Mary’s Junior College in 1972 and worked as an RN as her heart and passion was to always be in service to others. For the remainder of Diane’s life, she worked selflessly as a sponsor to numerous people in the Alcoholics Anonymous program and recently celebrated 27 years of sobriety herself. Diane is survived by her two daughters, Katy (Scott) Sparks and Kimberly (Michael) Golfman; grandchildren Kayla Ohlson, Reece Sparks, Olivia Golfman and Bodhi Golfman; brothers Ken (Diane) Zeitz and Tom (Barb) Zeitz; and sister Jane (Jay) Haller. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1st, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. at the Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery located at 6601 South Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO. Guests attending service should go to the outside pavilion near the cremation garden.
