on May 11, 2021 in Parker, Colorado. He was born May 17, 1949
in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Lex and Vera Dismang. He married
Darla Sue Lemon on October 19, 1969 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
After her premature death, Bill married Linda Cook on February
17, 1989.
Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972. He was
deployed in the Vietnam War and received an Honorable
Discharge as Staff Sergeant. He started his career as a lineman
for Mountain Bell and retired as Senior Manager of Global
Training for Lucent Technologies.
Bill was an avid golfer and played a mean game of ping pong. He
was an active member at University Church of Christ in Denver
for over 40 years, and served as an Elder there for many years.
He always put God first and loved his family and friends deeply.
Bill would often be found watching his grandchildren play sports
or taking them on special outings. His children looked to him
continually for wisdom, guidance and love. Bill deeply loved his
wife and they spent every possible moment together. He led and
protected his family fiercely. His Christ-like manner made him
loved and respected by all who knew him. Bill will be sorely
missed but we find hope in the promise that we will see him again
one day in Heaven.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Linda Dismang of Parker,
Colorado; children Juliet Douglas (Tim) of Clovis, California,
Jennifer Dale (Landon) of Parker, Jeff Dismang (Christi) of Parker,
and Anna Collier (Brad) of Parker; eleven grandchildren Bailey
Douglas Raymond (Andrew), Blake Dale, Grant Dale, Lex
Dismang, Cooper Dismang, Cara Dale, Brock Dismang, Audrey
Collier, Camille Collier, Nolan Collier, and Hudson Collier; a sister,
Linda Sue Dismang of Wichita, Kansas, and a brother, Lance
Dismang (Christy) of Tinmath, Colorado. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Darla Sue Dismang, and his parents Lex and
Vera Dismang.
