Ken grew up helping on the family farm. He attended school in Goldendale and gradutated in 1972. Ken then went on to graduate from Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, Wash., and relocated to Centralia, Wash., in 1978 with his wife, Brenda. In 1981, they began doing business as 4 Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning out of a shop behind their home. Ken's hard work and dedication led them to build a facility for their growing business in 1995, which they owned and operated in the community for a total of 38 years. Many would recognize Ken's rainbow striped van driving around town, even when he was working in other cities.
Ken and Brenda were preparing for retirement at the end of the year and Ken was helping his father manage part of the family farm. The grandkids were looking forward to more tractor and lawnmower rides with Grandpa. Ken may be best known for his sense of humor and ability to connect with those around him. He was always teasing, laughing and joking around with friends and customers.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda; son, Damon; grandchildren, Emalee, Garrett and Hailie Hoctor of Onalaska, Wash.; daughter, Megan (Audie); grandchildren, Declan, Weston and Adelyn Hunter of Centralia, Wash.; father, Charles M.
