Loving mother of Lori Sander and Ray Sander (Vicki). Daughter of the late Gilbert and Louise Bozant. Sister of Marvin Bozant and the late Gilbert “Gee” Bozant Jr. Proud grandmother of Misty Patingo, Drake Sander and Patrick Sander. Great grandmother of Gavin Greenberg and Rudy Flores. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, especially her longtime friend Gertie Washington.
Nezida was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, currently residing at St. Francis Villa Assisted Living in Jefferson. She enjoyed a long career as a Social Worker for the welfare department for the state of Louisiana. Sissy truly enjoyed life through her simple pleasures of playing Bingo at The Villa along with watching TV and sharing what she watched with her family and friends. Sissy will always be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family, spoiling the grandchildren along with doting over her great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Family wishes to extend special thanks for the caring and support from the staff and caregivers at St. Francis Villa Assisted Living where she was a resident for over 8 years. Deep appreciation to Irma Johnson and Barbara Deris for your loving and caring support.
Sissy will be laid to eternal rest in a private ceremony.
