I have a ceramic horse in my hall area that Mrs. Shirley made and gave me when I was married in 1984. I always thought of her when I passed it. My wife, Kathy and I really appreciated receiving the gift from Mrs. Shirley. I remember Mrs. Shirley always being so friendly to me when I grew-up on Rampart Street. I will remember Mrs. Shirley in my prayers!!!

Mom, you were always there for us as kids growing up and especially for me and my family while we were in the Navy. You came to visit whenever you could and even got Dad to come to DC area for a visit. I knew it was a little too much to get him to come to Hawaii with you during that visit, but knew you weren't going to miss the opportunity to see another grandchild making an appearance. We truly loved all the visits. I know I don't always show a lot of my emotions outwardly, but I am truly hurting inside. Love you, Mom.

Your stories of donalds childhood were always funny. He turned out to be a great man and that's thanks to you! You raised him and loved him so much. I loved you like you were my own grandmother. You stood by and supported us through everything and were one of our biggest fans when our dreams of a family came true. You will truly be missed mawmaw. Rest in peace now and know we love you!

Momma, words cannot describe the hurt I am feeling. I know that you are in a better place with daddy. You fought a hard fight right up until the end.
I am glad that you let me know that you knew I was there even when I wasn't sure. The last thing that I heard you say was " I want to see my boys" And you did, up until the very end.
Even when you didn't respond to our voices, you started moving to your favorite song, Elvira.
Never stop dancing in Heaven.
I am posting the last picture that you took with me at the Greenbriar Home Christmas Party, the day before you took a turn for the worst. Always the joker.

Loving you always,
Stephen Frught
