Loretta Ruth Cormier was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Loretta will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Mother: Margaret Downey Father: William King. Loretta grew up in Everett, Mass.
Loretta was raised with she had 5 siblings. She had 2 older sisters Barbara and Monica and one younger brother Thomas , 2 younger sisters Margaret and Jean. Loretta was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Loretta was committed to making her new family happy.
Loretta worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Loretta was blessed with 6 Children, 2 sons Edward and Thomas, 4 daughters Laura, Diane, Deborah and Annett. Another blessing for Loretta was the gift of 9 Grandchildren, Edward, William, Chad, Michelle, Angel, Crystal, William, Thomas and Danielle.
Loretta enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were Reading and Painting Ceramics. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Loretta passed away on June 11, 2018 at Chandler, AZ. Loretta fought a brave battle against lung cancer. She is survived by 5 children Edward, Laura, Diane, Deborah and Thomas. Services were held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery. Loretta was laid to rest in Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery.
Simply stated, Loretta was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Loretta leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember as nana, Loretta Ruth Cormier.
