Born on September 14, 1933 to Ernest (Pat) and Mary Ellisor he was a lifelong resident of Irmo. He served in the Army for 2 years at the Savannah Nuclear Plant. Bo spent his entire career at Bell South first as a lineman then a supervisor covering South Carolina.
Fortunate to retire at 55, Bo did what he wanted. His passion was raising farm animals and working his land. Outside on a tractor, planting a garden and producing the best tomatoes anywhere in SC. Loved his family and watching sports especially the Clemson Tigers.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jennie Ellisor. His children David (Darleen), Kay (Rob) and Tim (Brenda). Grandchildren Alex, Erin, Shannon and Darcy. Great grandchildren, Kylie, Nolan, Hagen, Waylon and Darcey.
Predeceased in death by his parents, brothers Ernest, Joe and sister Jessie Mae (Suzie) Rauch.
Services will be held at Union United Methodist Church in Irmo on Saturday November 4. Visitation 3-3:45, church service at 4 followed by graveside burial.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and anyone who experienced his kindness and humor.
