I knew Junior from his time in Ashville. He was a great guy. When I last spoke to him he was full of happiness & plans for the future.
Sending strength & condolences to his family at this time. He will be remembered fondly.

On behalf of the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to Ade's family and friends. May you find peace and comfort in the memories we all share with the truly amazing person that Ade was.

Ade was one of the best people we have all had the privilege to know. He could be a little shy and reserved at first, but when you really got to know him, his goofy and playful side shined through. He was a real gentleman and always made the people around him feel comfortable. He was very intuitive, a great listener, and someone you could sit down and talk to for hours. Of course, as everyone knows, he was always the best-dressed person in the room. When looking back at our college pictures, we all question our fashion sense back then as Ade was always dressed to the nines. He was authentically himself and never tried to hide who he was. Ade was so proud of his Nigerian heritage, and we know
how much he loved his family because he would talk about them often. He truly was one of a kind.

Ade is our brother, now and forever. He will live on in our hearts. We will carry his memory, infectious smile, and genuine and humble spirit throughout our lives. Although his life was way too short, we truly believe he lived his life to the fullest with all the love he gave and all the love he received. With his passing, Ade has reunited his AKPsi brothers after almost 10 years of lost connections. To honor our fond memories of Ade, we've made a donation to the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center. He will forever be memorialized at his Alma Mater with a commemorative tile. Ade, we love you, we miss you, and we will never forget you. You have changed our lives for the better.

My dear Adegboyega Junior,
You have a very strong spirit and we human beings, we are all spirit living in a body.
Your spirit left your body and your body will be put to rest.
We shall meet on the resurrection day by the Grace of God.
Your memory will never leave my mind every time.
To Ayodele’s Family, please accept my sincere sympathy for the passing away of our dear son.
Please, take good care of yourself.
God is always in Control of our lives.

I love you all.
I should have come to the burial tomorrow but I am in England now.
God bless you all.

This is so painful, but we give thanks to God for a life indeed well spent. Ade (Junior) as he is called by some of us was the most gentle of all. His smile and his enthusiasm for life was second to none. I am blessed to have crossed paths with him. He was my kids “uncle Junior” and I don’t know how to break the news to them because he had such an impact on their lives. I pray for the family, that the Lord comfort you on every side and give you the fortitude to bear this loss. From the Adegboola, Virich and Kuteyi families ❤️

My heart and condolences goes out to the Ayodele family. Ade was a great person, friend, and mentee who’s heart was filled with gold. I remember when the Hornet (Bobcats at the time) first hired him as our intern. He was always diligent and hungry to learn. Over the years it was a complete joy to see his success and love to help others. Ade you will be missed and your memory will continue to live on. Much love young King!
