Born on August 17, 1948, in Bayonne, N.J., his early life was shaped by family and community. Though preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald, and sister Barbara, the legacy of his love continues through his children and grandchildren.
He leaves behind Christine, his devoted wife of 52 years, their two proud sons, Andrew and Alex, his caring daughter-in-law Anna, and three treasured grandchildren: Logan, Margaret, and Brennan.
Frank's journey of knowledge began at Lakewood High School and the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, where he built lifelong friendships at Alpha Phi Omega. His thirst for learning continued as he obtained his M.B.A. from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. His impressive academic pursuits paved the way for a distinguished 25-year career in corporate finance with Xerox. His role took him across borders, working in Mexico and Brazil, always carrying with him his deep sense of commitment.
1997 saw Frank, alongside his family, laying roots in Hilton Head Island, S.C. The entrepreneur in him flourished, as he invested in local businesses and real estate, leaving a lasting impact on the community. He began with Rollers Liquor on Hilton Head, a fixture in the community that is open to this day. He then brought fine foods and dining to Bluffton with Vino & Vitto Marketplace and Fresco’s Restaurant.
Retirement for Frank wasn’t about slowing down, but about cherishing every moment. He was often found at Katie O’Donalds in Bluffton, SC, where he mingled with friends, shared stories, and stayed updated with the world. Frank's wisdom was sought by many, always ready to share insights on the stock market or the political landscape. Quiet evenings saw him walking alongside his loyal companion, Rocco, or experimenting with new recipes at home. In 2021, he and Christine chose to move to Charlotte, N.C., to be closer to their beloved grandchildren.
Frank's 75th birthday, just one month before his passing, was a testament to a life well-lived, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.
A private family gathering will be held to honor and remember Frank.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society.
