Joe Coulter was coach at Independence High School when I was there in the mid 1970s. Title IX had just passed and we had the first ever girls sports teams. I was thrilled and was on the girls tennis and track teams. Coach Coulter was a good, caring, and dedicated to students man. He left a wonderful legacy.

Dear Coulter Family ~ I was so very sorry to hear about Mr. Coulter. He is a fixture of many wonderful memories during my youth, from church, to school, to in your home when I would spend the night with Donna. He was a fine gentleman, who's strength was quite but evidence of his strong values and faith in God. Many will miss him and we all appreciate the time we shared with him.
God bless and keep each of you~

My prayers to the Coulter family. May you find comfort in knowing that when God restores Paradise, he will undo all causes of suffering. (Ps 37:11) Then our tears of sorrow will become tears of great joy.
