I have been off fb for about 6 months and just got back on this year. Today is Sharon's birthday and it alerted me. I went to her page and was so sad to hear of her passing. We were good friends in Jr high/high school, attending Valleydale together. We had such fun hanging out, riding through Shoneys and McDonald's on Freedom drive. I know she will be missed by so many and even though we did not talk frequently, I counted her as a special long time friend. She loved God, family and friends. I will see you on the other side dear friend.
condolences to her mom, sister Angie, husband, sons, family and friends

I was just getting on facebook to check on people that I knew I hadn't seen on there lately, and the 1st person I looked up was Sharon. I am just so, so sorry to hear of her passing. She and I worked together 30+ years ago at what was then NCNB in downtown Charlotte. She had the greatest laugh and we had such fun together. From her posts on facebook I knew her health had deteriorated, so am thankful that she is now healthy and whole. Prayers for her family.

Sunday Sept 10th-HE whispered come, and my dearest friend was escorted home. I will miss this girl so very much. yet I'm so thankful she is free from pain.
My entire life is filled with memories of Sharon, we had us some good times, She was the sweetest person, she was my best friend. And Although my heart is broken I know that God has only written the last line of this chapter, it's certainly not the end of the story. It has been an honor to be her friend and ole what a Joy it will be when we see her again.
