Stu was a childhood friend, class mate growing up in Calumet Township/Gary Indiana. We had so many memories, playing baseball-Little League and just growing up in junior high throughout High School, A gem of a friend, his laughter and antics we all shared will always be remembered. I along with the other postings that I have read, I see that Stu touched and made an impression on others.
Rest In Peace, my friend. Until we meet again.

Like many other people, I too was so sad to hear of Stewart's passing. What a fun, sweet and entertaining friend he was to all of us at The Mole Hole. We couldn't wait to hear about his latest date, new recipes and one more mountain house that got away! I hope he knew how much he was loved by the crazy Mole Hole ladies.

It is very hard for me to believe that I will not be greeted by my friend most mornings I come in to work. Always thoughtful, funny and hard working. I am thankful to have known him!
My thoughts go out to the family!

Stewart was my first boss and was the best boss I could have ever imagined working for. He was my mentor, my friend, and an example of the man I would like to be. I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to meet him and will always remember the kindness and generosity he has shown me. I'll never forget him and I'll miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

I was so stunned and saddened to hear about Stewart. I have a business at The Specialty Shops and saw Stewart most every morning. He was such a nice man and I enjoyed our friendship, often talking about his impending retirement and possibly moving to the mountains. He will be missed by all of us . Wilson Glasgow
