Clemmie Banther
February 26, 1922 – October 7, 2012
Clemmie Gentry Banther, 90, of Harrison, TN went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2012. Clemmie was a member the Maple Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Banther, parents; Samuel and Ardie Stokes Gentry, sister, Martha Lewis, brothers, Taylor Gentry, Charles Gentry, Sammy Gentry, Grandchildren, Christopher Howell, Greg Neely; and Son-in-law, Robert Harden. Clemmie is survived by her daughters , Jessie Harden, Glenda (Larry) Chadwick, Sherlene (Don) Rush, Artie (Steven) Prichard, Donna (David) Brady, son, Franklin (Connie) Banther, Eight Grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren; and Two Great Great Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 8th, at the Valley View Chapel. Funeral services will at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday October 9, at the Maple Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Howell, Pastor Ronny Dotson, Pastor Grady Cooper officiating. Burial will be in McDonald Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
