I have known David since he was 9 years old. I met David when he was attending a program for handicap children during the summer months, every two weeks the program would change to another park such as Carkeek Park I was there as a volunteer and met David. Later on we met at Woodland park again. This time he wanted my phone number. Pat, David's mother called me and invited me to her home. Mind you I was only 12 years old and had just finished 7th grade it was 1967. She asked me if I would like to babysit the last 2 weeks in August and I said yes. I grew to love all three kids David, Andy and Julie. Pat and I shared a special friendship that lasted 50 years. I will miss David but he is now pain free and in the arms of of Jesus. Bless you David.
