Delia (Nana, Dee) Carrasco 74, passed away July 19, 2020 at her home of pancreatic cancer. Delia was born in Salvatierra Guanajuato ( GTO ) México on May 22, 1946. Her parents were Alfonso Carrasco and Aurora García. She is survived and cherished by son Albert Carrasco, granddaughters Stephanie Carrasco and Jacqueline Carrasco. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Alfonso Carrasco Jr, Clara Simunjak, Alicia Carrasco, Aurora Méndez, Miguel Carrasco, Carmen Pizano, Jaime Carrasco, Guadalupe Carrasco and Carlos Carrasco.

Delia came to the United States while she was young and full of energy. She attended beauty school and became a beautician and would still cut hair from time to time for her sister's and style her granddaughters hair as well. She also worked for Solo Cup until she retired. Delia had a green thumb and loved being out and about. Her familia was her passion, helping many of them transition their own way to the United States. She was a devoted mother to her son and a great-grandmother to her grandchildren. She loved dancing to Michael's Jackson's Thriller and Smooth Criminal as well as attending and watching sporting events with her son. One of her greatest joys was having breakfast after church on Sundays while playing lotería, dominoes and solitaire. She was the best card player, storyteller, and great tent builder for her granddaughters. She loved going to the movies, shopping, looking for bargains and buying colorful things the most. She attended her church daily. Her relationship with our Lord was strong and there is no doubt that she will be our Lord's right hand in Heaven. We wish her a safe journey into the afterlife and hope and pray that she knows she is loved and will be dearly missed by all.
