Our hearts are deeply saddened by your mom's passing. Our memories of her will forever be with us. Her kindness and caring will never be forgotten.
I remember her very soothing tender voice as I'd go running to her for advice as a teenager and her laugh that tickled my soul. My fondest memory of growing up is thanks to her -every year over summer vacation, she, my mom and I would go downtown for the day. Bumming around, seeing the sites and best of all, lunch at Woolworths snack shop. I so looked forward to those days.
When my brother was born, I loved him soo much. I told my mom he had to have the best Godmother "Ciocia Genia".
She graciously accepted and I was in my glory.
As busy as she was with a family and life of her own, she always found time for others. My dad loved and respected her for all kindness she showed our family.
New in the US many things were difficult and strange. Many times she was their voice. My mom loved her like a sister. She helped my mom find a job. Helped with my dads medical condition and showed them the American way...and so much more. Bless her. I believe our purpose in life is to love and help eachother. Your mom has truely lived out her purpose. She has touched all our hearts and I'm sure many many others. She will always be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Our love and prayers of confort to all of those dear to her. Love Barbara, Janina & Tom Lagowski
Who remembers her sequins cap...I loved that sparkly thing.
