I met Lillian in 1985, we were fellow legal secretaries at Gould & Ratner.  I was an inexperienced neophyte and Lillian showed me the ropes, taught me a lot.  We became fast friends and daily lunch buddies.  It wasn't long before my husband Mike and I were introduced to Jack, and we had many, many stimulating evenings together!  Despite our moving to Minneapolis, we have stayed in touch and visited, not as often as I would have liked, but I treasure all the time we had together.  Lillian was wise and fun, very kind and caring.  I will miss my great friend!  Love to you, Jack.

Lillian always made me smile when I saw her at Harmony House. She was a dedicated volunteer and we always had a great exchange whenever I saw her there volunteering or at an event. Her smile and the happiness she brought into a room will be missed at Harmony House.

I will miss seeeing Lillian at Harmony House For Cats. She was a dedicated volunteer and lover of animals and a very sweet person.

Lillian was an incredible volunteer at Harmony House for Cats, and focused her time on the shy cats to help them blossom and find their special person.

I had many good times with Lillian in Chicago and then with her and Jack in Cincinnati.  Lillian always showed such remarkable strength and calmness. She will be missed and remembered.

My beloved Aunt Lillian.  You and my mother were very close as sisters.   You have been there for me since I was born.  You will be forever loved and remembered.  Your smile, your happiness, your devotion to Uncle Jack, your love for animals,  your joy for life.  My childhood summers spent with you and Uncle Jack are some of my best memories.  It was a blessing to be with you in your final days.  Your struggle is over.  May you rest in peace.  My girls and I will forever cherish you in our hearts.

Lillian was one of the first people I met a few years ago when I began volunteering with Safe Humane Chicago. She was ALWAYS kind and helpful , and we enjoyed many nice talks. Condolences to her friends and family.

Sincere condolences to Lillian's family and friends. She was an amazing friend to animals and to volunteers she worked with, as Safe Humane volunteers can attest. She is missed by all who knew her.

Am certain Lillian has been greeted by her mom, dad and two sisters, but I'm picturing Lillian in a green field playing with Baron, Nadja, Scarlet, and Katie.What fun we all had.Rest in Peace my dear friend.
