We grew up on the same streets first 11th than F st. But my first memories of Manuel were on F st. He was 10 years older than me. He would come to our house or we would go to his all the time. We remember that he was always polite especially to adults like his aunts and uncles. Last time I saw him was a few years ago and we talked about the houses on F st. and old downtown Chino that doesn't exist anymore also talked about the house in Mexico that our Dads lost. Even though Manuel was older than me we saw the same things. He had the same memories as I did especially Mexico. That's the main reason I'll miss him-the memories.

I remember my brother Manuel Santana. I have a lot of good memories of him when he use to come over my house to talk to me. He will come and see my boys when they were small. I would cook and I would give him some food to eat and he would ask me if I could give him some food to take home. I would give him a lot of food to take with him home. He was happy because he has food to eat. I miss my brother the last time I seen him was last year in the summer he come to my job to see me. I was happy to see my brother Manuel. I first met Manuel July 1980, I used to call him Manny, because his Dad was Manuel. A year or so ago I ran into Manny at the sprouts market on foothill in Upland, he took me and introduced me to his friends that worked there telling them all that I was his brother in law married to his youngest sister Mary. He was a good person and a gentle soul. He will be missed and is loved by his family and friends! May God Keep you safe in His Loving Arms until you are reunited with your loved one. Gods Bless You Manuel Santana Junior. With Love and Respect your Brother in Law Pecos

I remember when me and my cousin Brianna were younger we always used to play pranks on Manuel. For instance we always used to go over to his house and play ding ding ditch it was the funniest thing ever he would co e out and look to see who it was and he always knew it was us. Another time I remember he always used to promise he was going to come over and bring chocolate chip cookies but he wouldn’t show up until one day he came on his bike and brought me a monkey that he said was real but it was only a stuffed animal. Finally for the best funniest time is when me and Brianna pranked him at the Pomona apartments. He came over and he had a backpack with a water bottle he walk away to talk to my mom and me and Brianna took the opportunity it’s to play the most epic prank and added dish soap to his water. We waited impatiently to see when he was going to drink it. We both looked at each other giggling as we saw him grab his water to take a big drink! He reacted and ran to the kitchen to spit it out in the sink. We both started laughing so hard as he said “BRIANNA and VANESSA” hahah funny times.
