Dawon Van McClellan

Dawon had a huge personality, he was friendly, outgoing and never met a stranger, to him everyone was a friend. Dawon loved family and brought a smile to anyone he encountered. He loved spending time with his grandma, his mom & his uncles.

Dawon persevered in times of difficulty with his head held high and a huge smile on his face. “Yeah, I know”, he knew he was handsome as can be.

Dawon was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Harris, maternal grandfather Leon Harris, his paternal grandfather Jimmy Ray McClellan and his wife Jizelle.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father Jamon McClellan, brothers- Daiquan Nixon, Stephon and Daivion Caradine and Melvin Hammond. Sisters- Tahjanae Caradine and Leonjanae Hammond. Nieces- Nevaeh and Araiyah Nixon. Grandmothers Tanya Harris and Vanessa Harris, great grandmother Nadine Gilchrist and a host of family and beloved friends.
