Although I only spoke to Ms.Redondo a hand full of times, my mother (Rosa) knew her well and was very fond of her and thankful for her great wisdom and generous counseling. Our prayers to her family. She was a beautiful and genuine person.

My condolences to all her family. This world has lost an angel. Your Mom was a GRAND LADY. She was spunkie and very determined when it came to standing up and changing something that she knew was not right. It was an honor to know and work with her in the club.
Such a positive woman who had the most beautiful smile. I will miss you my friend, may you rest in peace.

My thoughts are with the Redondo family at this time. I only met Ms. Redondo a few times but I always felt welcomed and comfortable in her home. I remember watching "ROOTS" when it first aired in the 70's at her house. I don't remember what we ate but I remember it was good. I will always remember her fondly.

Where do I begin. . .Rachel, she was an incredible woman. A woman of integrity, strength, humor, devotion, committment. If she said, it was done. I met her when I was 12 years old I was from a single parent home in the 50's Rachel made me feel that I was loved and accepted in her home always. If I was hungry she fed me if I was sad she would listen to me. We laughed together always she was very quick wit. She loved her family with a love of a woman that would do absolutely everything she could do for them. Anyone who crossed her path in this lifetime was surely blessed. I will miss her and am hoping that we have mansions in the same neighborhood in heaven one day. Loved her, the woman of amazing love for others. Yes, there will be an emptiness in the Redondo family that only the love of God can fill.
