Annie Ruth Wall O'Neal

Annie Ruth Wall O’Neal, 93, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, June 8, 2018 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Archer Lodge to the late Viola and Jack Wall on October 1, 1924. Annie Ruth worked on the farm and with Westinghouse Corp. in Raleigh where she retired at the age of 62. She loved life, people, her community, White Oak Church and the Lord. She loved to travel, visiting all states but Hawaii, Jerusalem, Bethlehem; Saw the Sea of Galilee as she said “walked where Jesus walked”. She was a blessing to all she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob O’Neal, two babies, one brother and four sisters, She is survived by her daughters, Martha O’Neal (Don Adkins), Nancy Hardee and husband Bobby, grandchildren, Ashley, Drew and wife Lisa, Tyler and one great grandson, Sundae,

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00am at White Oak Baptist Church with the interment following in the church cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held following the service at the Archer Lodge Community Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the White Oak Baptist Church Caregivers, White Oak Baptist Church Bereavement, and Archer Lodge Community Center or to the Archer Lodge Fire Department.
