Marie Petit Price Cardinell, age 77, of Clayton, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Marie was born in Johnston County to the late Luther and Mary Beddingfield Petit on December 26, 1945. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00am in the mausoleum of Pinecrest Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Price of Clayton; daughter, Alisha Cole of Raleigh; sister, Jeanette Higley of Waldo, WI; brothers, Charles Petit and Larry Petit both of Clayton, WM Petit of Angier; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. in addition to her parents, Marie is also preceded in death by her husband, Luther W. Price; daughter, Crystal Kern; and a sister, Yvonne Green.
