Edith (Edie) Boltz Fulks, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on April 17, 2019, surrounded by family. Edie was born in Toledo, Ohio, on January 28, 1939, and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, Ohio, in 1957. She moved to Clearwater that same year with her family, and attended St. Petersburg Junior College. She retired in January, 1992, from the Pinellas County Tax Collector's office after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Boltz, Betty Jane Boltz, and her sisters, Ann Doan, Mary Ruth Fitzgerald, and Ellen Mitman. She is survived by husband, Jeff Fulks, of Clearwater, sister, Janie Johnson, of Asheville, NC, three stepchildren, Kenneth Broman-Fulks (Suzette) of High Point, NC, Jennifer Fulks Clay (Al) of Sharpsburg, GA, and Judy Fulks Hamler of Tallahassee, FL; also, eight grandchildren, twelve great grand-children, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Edie found great joy in delivering Meals on Wheels, which she did for almost twenty years. She also had a huge love of dogs. Memorials may be directed to Meals on Wheels of Pinellas County, or to the Humane Society of Pinellas County.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, at 1:30, at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home
