Klaus was born in Hamburg, Germany on July 21, 1943, to August and Charlotte Bornost. He had three brothers; Dieter, John, and Peter.
Klaus married his first and only love Bernarda (his world) on October 18, 1969. They have one child.
Klaus is survived by his wife of 54 years and daughter Venessa.
Klaus was a devoted husband and family man. He owned his own printing business and was hard working well past the age of 70. He loved to work and loved what he did. His favorite things to do were cycling, swimming, travel, cruises, and spending time with friends and family.
He was Roman Catholic and attended Lady of Lourdes church.
He was happiest at home sitting on his porch outside and in nature. He was a beautiful man, a gentleman, kind, generous, compassionate, patient, and honest. A man who touched many and will forever be missed.
In lieu of flowers the family ask if they wish they can send a donation to Hospice Empathy.
