Rita M Fischer

Rita Marie Fischer, 93, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Rita was born in Hoboken, New Jersey and moved to the west coast of Florida in 1994. She is survived by her devoted children: Charles Stewart, Jr. and his wife Brenda, James Stewart, Marie Hermansen, and Kimberly Fischer; her cherished grandchildren: Michele Gaetani, Robert Hermansen III and Thor Hermansen; and her treasured great- grandchildren: Olivia Hermansen and Cooper Hermansen.

Rita was a Veteran having served in the Army Air Corp during World Word II. She was a devout Catholic. Her favorite pastime was watching the Catholic network, EWTN. She loved praying the rosary with Mother Angelica and watched the Mass every day. Rita cherished spending time with her family, especially at Christmas, her favorite holiday. She will always be remembered for her strong faith and great sense of humor.

Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church (13591 Prosperity Farms Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410) followed by the burial at 12:30 pm at Riverside Memorial Park (19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, FL 33469).
