“Robert J. Parrish Sr., on December 2, 2017, at the age of 92, went home to his creator. He was a long time Florida resident, native of Illinois. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte Parrish (née Sluis). Loving father of the late Robert (Shirley) Parrish Jr., Nancy (James) Kuglin, Donald (Linda) Parrish and Elaine (Paul) Kuipers. Proud grandfather of Danielle (Josh) Seago, Brandon (Bridget) Kuglin, Michael Kuglin, D. Wayne (Candice) Parrish, Jennifer (Brian) Herzog, Jeremy (Michelle) Parrish, Adam Kuipers and Heather Kuipers. Great grandfather of 11. Bob was a proud veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy. There will be a memorial service in Florida in Ranchero Village at the Corral on December 30, 2017 at 3:00pm. A memorial service will also be held in Illinois on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Trinity Christian College, 6601 W College Drive in Palos Heights in the Grand Lobby of the Ozinga Chapel. Rev. Howard Hoekstra will officiate the service from 11-11:45 am with visitation to follow until 2 pm.”
