She was born in Boston, MA. on October 5, 1918, the daughter of Roderick N. Shaw and Sadie Ruth (Sullivan) Shaw.
Ruth owned and operated R.E. Lyons Jewelers in Belleair Bluffs. She moved to Clearwater in 1948, and was a member of the Ranchero Chapel in Largo, FL.
Ruth is survived by her a cousin, Joan Crew and her niece Wendy Garcia.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Ranchero Chapel in Largo, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Clearwater, FL.
