Juanita Sayre
June 27, 1938 – September 13, 2017
Ms. Juanita Mae Roupe Sayre, 79, died peacefully in her sleep at her home Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. Juanita’s husband, Samuel W. Sayre, and son, Jimmy Lee Sayre, predeceased her. Juanita was born in Hughes Creek, WV. On June 27, 1938. She loved her family and always made sure that they came first. Her sacrifices will never be forgotten by her family that cherished everything that she did for them. Juanita’s immediate family includes seven children, Allen (Paula) Sayre of Germanton, Darryl (Kathy) Sayre of Charleston, WV, Ronda (Mitch) Wilkins of Reidsville, Mary (Michael) Smith of Pfafftown, Anita (late Ritchie) Carson of Leland; Terry (Julie) Sayre of Supply, Missi (Steve) Frye of Winston Salem; three brothers, Leroy, Walter, and Shirley Roupe; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, Sept 17th from 1-2:30pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd. A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Forsyth Memorial Park.
