Lucille Grace Filippone Sawchyn, 90, passed away on October 8, 2018.

She was born on September 8, 1928 in Paterson, NJ to Joseph and Rose Filippone.

Lucille is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Sawchyn; brother, Nicholas Filippone; and sisters, Anne Soltis, Jenny Mustrat, and Josephine Gorab. She leaves behind her children, Kathleen (Thomas) Mazzotta and Bill (Laurie) Sawchyn; grandchildren, TJ (Audrey) Mazzotta, Ashley Mazzotta, Billy Sawchyn, and Bryan (Kelsey) Sawchyn; great grandchildren, Maverick, Micah, and Peyton; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A special thank you to Gerri and Jim Savitsky for their extraordinary care and kindness to our Mom.

Lucille was a devoted wife and mother. She had a truly special way of making everyone smile.
