Dear Pete,

This is a sad time for you, losing your mother to death is so final. I really feel for you and I know how hard it is, because my husband left me last year. I imagine you will have some sad times.

Yet, I would encourage you, however, to think that your mother is relieved of all earthly burdens and is beginning a new journey in a mysterious place, a divine place. That's a reason to rejoice for her, in spite of the sadness we experience on this earthly level when confronted with separation from a loved person.

I am glad to hear that you are still at Toastmasters; there you are surrounded by people who love you and care for you.

Be well, Pete,
Britt
