Jerold passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the age of 80. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 5, 1938 to the late Sol and Rose Goldman (Kaufman).
Jerry graduated from Shaw High School where he loved to play football. After high school he joined the US army where he served two years.
Jerry then began his long career with Pepsi Cola where he worked for 28 years. Starting out as a helper on the Pepsi trucks, working his way through the ranks to vice president.
In 1962 he married his long time love of 57 years Evelyn Goldman (Schonhiutt). Together they raised three children Steve, Sol and Sherry.
After retiring from Pepsi, Jerry and his son Steve owned and operated two Togo's franchises in Lodi and Studio City, CA. Jerry then went on to become a much loved greeter at the Palladio Theater in Folsom, CA, where he found great joy.
Jerry adored his three grandchildren Stephen, Drew and Joey. Also, he just loved his cats! Jerry's charm, wit and wisdom will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS. on Friday, May 3 at 1 PM.
Interment will follow in Bet Olam Cemetery (Liberty Aid Section), 27596 Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.
