Lore was born on September 19, 1923 in Mannheim, Germany. Following a move to Nice, France, with her parents and sisters Friedel and Hilde, she settled in Cleveland, where she married Ernest Wallach.
Lore had a love for travel, music, art, gardening, cooking and sailing, and devoted herself to the Alzheimer’s Association following her husband’s passing in 1993.
In 2000, desiring to be closer to family, Lore moved to New York City, where her daughter Miriam Boyce (Steve) and grandchildren Michael and Naomi lived. Lore enjoyed being with family, swimming at her health club and exploring New York’s many cultural offerings.
Lore’s last move was to Indianapolis in 2012, where her son Ken Wallach (Suzie) lives.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 9 AM on Sunday, October 14 in Zion Memorial Park (Shaarey Tikvah section), 5461 Northfield Rd, Bedford Hts.
The family will receive friends following interment at Shaarey Tikvah, 26811 Fairmount Blvd.
and share in some of Lore’s favorite music.
