AURIA S. GONZALES of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 31, 2019 at the age of 81.

Auria, known as "Aida" to all, was born to Francisco Lopez and Maria Santiago in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on September 14, 1937 and was one of four children. This is where she met and married the love of her life, Ramon. In their 66 years of marriage they bore four children; Raymond (Miriam), Moses (Rose), Robert (Alice) and Nancy. They were blessed with a total of 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

With her strong presence, caring nature, contagious laughter and her love of shopping, nature and music, Aida was deeply loved by all who knew her. She was kind to everyone she met and would go out of her way to make them feel welcome, especially by feeding them. She had a strong love for cooking and reading, and you would rarely ever find her without a book or her bible nearby. The world has lost an amazing woman, but heaven has gained a beloved angel. She will be missed profoundly.

Dearest Mother- in -Law
You are gone from us today
I will no longer see your smile or the love you often displayed
But through our years you have taught me about family and love
I will carry your memory inside my heart daily as you walk with the angels above
Youll be greatly missed
But will remain in our
Hearts forever.

Your daughter in law

Prayers for your family. This wonderful woman and I share two beautiful grandchildren. Her selflessness and love for these babies will always be remembered and she has already instilled in them how to love unconditionally. She has also shown me what it means to give of yourself and follow Gods plan. I will miss you grandma and I will never let “your babies” forget you! I love you.
