David Zalewski

David Zalewski, age 75, passed away on November 14, 2020; born to Arthur and Marjory on May 2nd of 1945; beloved husband to Sue Pollack; dear dad to Carrie (Don), Tina, Stacie (George), Peter, Bradley, and Heather; loving grandpa to the late Joseph, Brenden (Courtney), Haylie, George Jr., Harrison, and Parker; cherished great-grandpa to Rylee, Charlee, Easton, Bryson, and Serena; brother to Mary, the late Lydia (Noel), and the late Frank; he is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

David was a proud Army Veteran. Following his military career, he worked as a police officer in Hamtramck until he retired in 1998. He was also a member of the AMVETS, Post 29 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan with his wife Sue for many years.

The family will greet friends at Kaul Funeral Home on Thursday, November 19th from 1:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral service Friday, November 20th at Holy Cross Church, 610 S. Water Street in Marine City, Michigan 48039 at 11:00am until the time of mass at 12:00pm.

David will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Marine City, Michigan.

So sorry to hear of uncle Dave’s passing. We have fond memories of visiting at the lake house and from times in Hamtramck. Sorry we are not able to attend the service. Our prayers and love are with you all!
