Harrell Lee Balch

Harrell Lee Balch, age 91, died March 21, 2018. He was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas to Jacob and Geneva Balch. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores “Yogi”. Loving father of Linda Hall and Michael (Rhea) Balch. Cherished pappaw of Carrie (Adam) Veschak, Aaron (Shaunna) Balch, Christy Wilkins, Stephanie (Nathan) Metcalf, and Kyle Balch. Great-pappaw of Hannah, Seth, Layah, Lauren, Dante, Xander, Rosaria, and Rhylie. Dear brother of the late Rena Faye (the late Johnnie) Eanes, Travis (the late Betty Ann) Balch, the late Curtis (the late Anne) Balch, Mary Lou (Lester) Price, the late Peggy (Jim) Turner, JoAnn (Ron) Pelletier, the late Steve Wayne (Delores) Balch, Wanda (Elvis) Sneathern, and Linda (Ce) Crowe. Harrell is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Harrell proudly served in the US Army and also was an active member of the VFW Rifle Team at Great Lakes National Cemetery. He retired after 31 years of dedicated service from General Motors. Visitation Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 5-9 pm and Friday, March 23, 2018 from 2-9 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township, Michigan. Funeral service Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
