I met Mark at Black Lake during a UAW Veterans conferance. I didn't know him well. He came across to me as a kind and caring individual. He was a brother as a veteran and a union man. It is a sad day for his family both close and extended. Prayers for all. He will be missed. R.I.P. Mark

I met Mark back 1983 while he was stationed in the Air Force in Cheyenne, WY. His smile could light up a room! He was fun loving with such a big heart! He taught me how have fun and enjoy life! I was so lucky to spend time with Mark and his best friend Blair! Mark and I reconnect 2 years ago on Facebook. My heart goes out to his beautiful wife and daughter and rest of his family. Rest in Peace dear friend.

One of my favorite memories was working with Mark during the contract negotiations in Hammond, Indiana. Watching his determination to get the workers the best possible contract. His skills and abilities will be greatly missed by the UAW, Solidarity forever my brother.

My prayers are with Gina and Gianna and all of your families. Mark and I were best buddies for two years in the Air Force...just two young guys who barely needed to shave with the world in front of us and everything was an adventure. We were roomates in the barracks, worked together in our jobs and milked life for everything it could offer during those two years. As I recollect that time, 1983-1985, I am amazed at how much we did, how many places we saw, and just all the stories we made when we were off duty. I received orders to Korea, and I didn't see Mark again until somewhere around 2000 I met him in Pittsburgh. We had a few drinks and laughed. Then time and life took over and we never hooked up again. I have few regrets, but not getting together again was one. Rest easy my friend. I will see you in Heaven one day. Love you like my own brothers!
