Mary Ledwon

Mary Josephine Walus Ledwon, died August 2, 2018. She was born September 6, 1924, in Iselin, Pennsylvania to Sophia Deptuch Walus and Frank Walus. She graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit and worked at Packard Motor Company. On September 1, 1951, she married Arthur Victor Ledwon. Mary’s passion was her family. She loved and nurtured her four children, her parents and her husband. She derived much joy from spending time with her granddaughters and the arrival of a great-granddaughter brought a special light to her life. Mary is survived by her children: Elaine (Ted), Marianne, Darlene (Jim) and Arthur; her granddaughters Lindsey C. George and Lauren; great-granddaughter, Amelia; brother, Ted Walus, Sisters-in-law, Loretta Yoskovich and Antoinette Ledwon; and many nieces and nephews. A committal service will take place Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11 am at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Township. (Please meet inside the main gate of the Resurrection Cemetery at 10:45 am).
