Although we got to know Ceil and Steve later in life, we have wonderful memories of playing button box together, bus trips to polka events, jamming at the Slovene American Club. They came to Chatham Ontario for our Polkas in the Park for many years.

We will always remember them both. Our condolences to the family.

We always had so much fun with your Mom and Dad. They welcomed us with open arms. Your Dad use to love talking polish with my Dad. You could see their eyes laughing as they talked. Your parents loved the button box. I will never forget all the fun we had weddings, boating, punchie days and in the basement playing the button box. Memories last forever. Your Dad will be missed by many.

Dear Family of Stephen Urbanec

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather.

Stephen brought joy to so many people by playing his Slovenian Button Box and leading the Slovaks in singing their favorite Slovak folk songs. Just this past August, I had the pleasure of reminiscing with him the times that he and his wife entertained their followers at the Czech-Slovak Festivals at Yack Arena. What great times they were! Stephen will be missed by all who knew him.

The support of your friends during this time will bring you comfort as you grieve for your loved one.

God Bless You!
