There are aunts you look up to
Aunts who are wise
Those who are good friends
Those who advise
Aunts that are lovable
Aunts who are fun
Then there is Aunt Jean
Who was all these in one

Aunt Jeanie,

All though your work here on earth is done, the legacy of your time here with us will linger on for generations. We have all been so blessed to have had you in our lives.
You were SO much to SO many.
I recognized early on what an impact you and Uncle Mario had on Steven's life, all the memories he holds so dearly- I couldn't wait to meet you both, and once I did I realized there was no way he could articulate what a great aunt & uncle he loved so dearly.
You opened your home to anyone, left out a spread of food that no one can match. I remember asking if perhaps I could copy a few of your recipes to take back home with me, but no Jeanie passed me the entire cookbook...I use that very cookbook on a weekly basis and think of Jean with a smile on my face everytime I reach for it.
Thank you God for blessing this particular family with that one particular person she was truely a blessing to us all.

Jean, you were truly an amazing and wonderful person. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. An outstanding woman who's dedication to her family will forever shine. Strong willed, sharp as a whip and boy o boy could you cook! Your someone that never felt a need to put yourself first above anyone else. We were all equal in your book and you will be forever missed.

Aunt Jean... beautiful, strong, independent, concrete, loving, caring, sharing, creative. Always a smile, a hand to help, a shoulder to cry on. Never shy to say the truth and defend the ones she loved. Wonderful about everything she did from making the best meals to listening to showing you how to fold laundry. I will miss you, cherish you and hold onto all the great things you passed down to me. I will never forget the patience you showed me as a new mom, the strength you gave me as a student, and the courage to be me. As you dance with our Lord and rest with our family, know that instilled within is a part of you that will never be lost. I love you so much and cant wait to see you again.
