Vera "Sue" Harralson, age 80, of Fresno, California entered into rest on Friday, February 19, 2021. "Sue" was born September 30, 1940 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Sidney Belle Cavette Bruton and Louis E. Bruton.
"Sue" graduated from Central Union High School in Fresno, CA.
"Sue" was married to Robert L. Morgan from 1970-1983. In 1983 Sue married Leland "Lee" Harralson.
"Sue" worked for 22 years a Medical Records Clerk at Valley Medical Center, then for Fresno Community Medical Center when they took over Valley Medical Center.
"Sue" was a long time member of Lucky Ones RV Club where she served a 1 year term as their Treasurer.
"Sue" was an avid collector of Barbie Dolls. She never took them out of their boxes. Sue mounted the boxes on the bedroom wall. She was once interviewed by a Fresno Bee Reporter and took pictures of the dolls for an article for the Fresno Bee.
"Sue' was a very likable, friendly person. She would sometimes disappear from the house and be found talking with a neighbor across the street. Sue was also a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain for a while.
Some of the neighbors would come up to her hoping that she could solve their problems. She often tried.
"Sue" is survived by her husband, Leland "Lee" Harralson; son Marty James Morgan (Jaylene); son Lance Morgan (Tanya); step-daughter Kendra Lynn Greer (Delbert); and step-daughter Rhonda Lynn Bowen; brother John Bruton.
"Sue" was preceded in death by father Louis E. Bruton and mother Sidney Belle Cavette Bruton; brother Louis A Barton; brother Thomas Bruton and sister Myrtle Bruton Horch.
"Sue" also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Due To COVID-19 Restrictions Only 15 People Will Be Able To Attend The Graveside Service At Fresno Memorial Gardens
A graveside service for "Sue" will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Avenue, Fresno, California 93706.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in "Sue's" memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
