Ric'Driquez Davenelle Wilson, Sr.

Ric’ Driquez Davenelle Wilson was born February 20, 1977, to Ricky James Wilson, Sr. and Linda Faye Sturdivant in Birmingham, Al. He departed life on Sunday November 10, 2019 with the first and last woman he ever loved at his side.
At an early Ric gave his life to Christ. He was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church, Collegeville, Al by Pastor C.B. Scott. His membership then moved to New Progress Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the junior usher board, member of the youth choir, as well youth superintendent. Ric attended the Birmingham/Fairfield City school system. Ric decided to finish his education by attending and successfully completing Job Corp in Albany, Ga. with many trades.
After moving to Atlanta, Ric and his family joined Atlanta Community Church. There he served as security, deacon, and usher until his health failed. After Job Corp, Ric took up residence in the greater Atlanta Metro Area, where Trojan temp service sent him on the journey of his life. For the next 22 years Ric worked in the scaffolding industry. He started as a worker and worked throughout the Birmingham/ Atlanta Metro area working his way up to foreman/supervisor.
Ric was proceeded in death by his son, Elijah Davenelle Wilson; brothers Mario Wilson and Ricky Wilson, Jr; His fathers, Henry Ford (distinguished dad) and Ricky Wilson, Sr. and grandfather Nathan Doss He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving wife, best friend, and trusted companion Lonia Marie Wilson; three beautiful daughters Laletta Lynese Wilson, Rushie Bonner (Reginald) and Amber Parker; Two handsome sons: Mario Davenelle Wilson and Ric’Driquez Davenelle Wilson, Jr; a loving and devoted mother Linda Faye Ford; three adoring sisters Trinita Lynese Ford, Ricketia Wilson- Rupert, and Chiquita Smith; two brothers Anthony and Donell Ford; a gorgeous grandmother Lillie Ford (Robert); and Tommy Wilson, grandfather. ten grandchildren, a host of aunts and uncles, cousins (that were more like siblings), nieces and nephews, friends and other family members by choice.
