Carolyn Ann Blomstedt, 82, of College Station passed away April 26, 2018 at CHI-St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. A celebration of her life will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1200 Foxfire Drive, College Station, TX 77845. A graveside committal service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 30, 2018 at Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kenedy, Texas.
Carolyn was born June 1, 1935 in San Antonio, the daughter of William A. and Luella M. (Willmann) Fricke. She was married to Curtis E. Blomstedt on October 17, 1953. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and a longtime supporter of the music ministry.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Curtis E. Blomstedt on March 27, 2009.
Survivors include her children: Larry Wayne Blomstedt & his wife Colleen, Karen Marie Walls & her husband Paul, Steven Eugene Blomstedt & his wife Shelly; ten grandchildren: Ty Berry & wife Erica, Candice Garrett & husband Jason, Elizabeth Blomstedt, Alex Blomstedt, Kristy Lee & husband T.J., Ellen Walls, Mark Walls, Laura Blomstedt, Brittany Sears & husband Ryan, Paige Shaver & husband Scott; seven great grandchildren; brother, Paul Fricke & wife Michelle; and special friend and companion, Michael Wright.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in College Station.
