Sudie Velma "Sue" Urbanovsky

Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 am Saturday, September 12th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Graveside service to follow at 11:30 am Saturday at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery. Sudie Velma was born May 27, 1940 in Bryan the daughter of Morris Grant and Sudie Mae (Martin) Flatt. On June 14, 1958, she was married to Frank John Urbanovsky. The wedding took place in the Cooks Point Brethren Church with Rev. Henry E. Beseda Jr. officiating. The witnesses were Marlene Smith and Joe Urbanovsky. She loved babysitting children, every child she cared for was “one of her babies”. Sudie Velma provided childcare for several decades; on occasion caring for two generations from the same family, many would still come by to see her later in life. Sudie Velma was a faithful woman; loved the Lord and everything He created. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Deer Park, Texas.

Sudie Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Sudie Flatt; husband, Frank John Urbanovsky; and a sister-in-law, Lynn Flatt.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Urbanovsky of Pasadena; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dawn Urbanovsky of Friendswood; brother, Harlan Flatt of Hearne; daughter, Karen Crouse and husband Cray, and their son, Talon; son, Keith Flatt and wife Christina, and their children Shelby, Leland and Kolby; brother-in-law, Joe Urbanovsky and wife, Judy of Friendswood; daughter, Brandi Kemp and husband Tim, and their son Bennett; brother-in-law, Lamar Urbanovsky and wife, Darlene of Round Rock; daughter, Lynnette Urbanovsky; brother-in-law, Ronald Urbanovsky and wife, Maryann of Deanville; daughter, Melissa Barr and husband Bobby, and their children Blane and Bryce; daughter, Rhonda Michalkowski and husband Mike; son, Donald Urbanovsky and wife Danielle, and their children Dusty, Dakota and Dalton.
