Annie Lou Blanton, 84, of Euless, TX peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 8th, 2018 at her home. She will be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, and sweet friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born in Detroit, TX on October 13, 1933 to Cleburne and Annie Irene Hinsley and was the oldest of eleven children. Annie married the love of her life, James Roy Blanton in 1950, who preceded her in death in 1986. Soon after, Annie went to work at Bedford Christian Academy and retired after 25 years of taking loving care of the babies as though they were her own. Having moved often as a child, Annie was happiest just being with her family and taking care of her home. She was very proud of and adored her three grandchildren, whom she doted on. Survivors include her son, Randol and his wife Donna of Euless and his son Joshua and daughter in-law Mary, of Corpus Christi; son Robert and his wife Kathy, and their children, Elizabeth and James, all of Bedford as well as beloved sister Ellen McIntyre and brother in-law Donnie of Quanah; devoted sister in-law Laura Blanton of Bonham, and many nieces and nephews. Her family is also grateful to her many wonderful neighbors for their friendship and watchful eye. Annie was my next door neighbor. She was a Strong woman. She would be out in her yard when it was nice outside quite often watering her yard, getting up leaves, sweeping her entrance way and driveway, and trimming her grass. She was Wonderful. Even though Annie and I had our differences sometimes, to me Annie Was a Friend. I will Miss Annie. It won't be the same without her next door. Not seeing her out in her yard or just outside will be so different for me. It will take some time for me to get used to. I will Miss Annie. RIP Annie. I will Miss you my Neighbor and Friend... :-(
