Dorothy Ann Gilmer

Dorothy Ann Gilmer passed away on July 13, 2018, after a long illness. She was 77 years old. Dorothy was a very lovable person, and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Miss Gilmer was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Eugene and Ruby Rivers Gilmer. She is survived by four sisters, Ruby Umstead (John), Mary Ann Snipes, Linda S. Gilmer, and Martha Bailey (Frank); her brother, Donald Gilmer; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, and funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fisherville Baptist Church Cemetery.
