Mom, you were one remarkable woman. Your life was a difficult one with such bright spots, like your abiding love for Dad. I fondly remember your fantastic feathered hats, your love of butter pecan ice cream, the picnic lunches for the rides on Sundays, your fashion sense, your small acts of charity, sitting by the fire in Vermont, the way you held on during that scooter ride around Bermuda, the way you sat by Dad's side as he faced his death and telling him to go to the light. We may have had our issues, but I hope you knew my love was always with you. You are now with your favorite, beloved dancing partner and in the presence of your loving Lord. Requiem in pacem.
