On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Florence A. Noguera passed away unexpectedly at the age of 70.

Florence Asuncion Vaquilar Noguera was born on June 14, 1950 in San Francisco, California. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1968. She married Melvin Noguera at St. James Catholic Church in December of 1971. Florence lived all her life in San Francisco and worked for Bank of America for nearly 30 years.

Her hobbies included spending time with family and friends, participating in events at the Cayuga Community Connectors, dancing and exercising. She also enjoyed attending car shows with her husband and cruising around the Bay Area, listening to 50's music in their vintage 1965 mustang or their PT cruiser.

Florence loved to go on trips with her family, especially to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Disneyland.

Florence had a compassionate heart and a gentle smile. She will be missed by many.

Florence is survived by her husband Melvin Noguera, son Christopher Noguera (Rubilene), her grandson Cole Pimentel-Noguera, her sister Nina Cox (Lee), brothers Alfred Vaquilar (Rose) and Samuel Vaquilar (Maria), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonore Asuncion and Fred Vaquilar.

A christian funeral service is scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2020 at 10am at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma, California. Services will be held outside under canopies. All attendees must maintain 6-feet of social distance and wear a face mask. The family respectfully request that all attendees maintain physical distance and refrain from physical contact (i.e. no hugging or hand shaking) due to COVID-19.

Today my beautiful sister Florence which i have known for 61 years is now resting in peace with our mom and dad i miss you so much!! My tears now are for happy and sad From your brother always in my heart love you sis Samuel Vaquilar and family - Maria Vaquilar-Edwin -Maria- Mia -Vincent -Arias-Kylee! We All Miss You So Much!!
